HOW IT ALL STARTED...

Back in the late 1950s, Tony’s Grandparents, Concetta “Tina” & Benito Valentino, came to the UK from Naples.

With their shared Love & Passion for food, Nonna Tina mastered the life of a true Italian “Casalinga”, & Nonno Benito became a successful Italian Food Representative, supplying virtually every Italian Restaurant & Café In London.

INSPIRED...

After eating Nonna Tina’s amazing food growing up, A very Inspired Tony, started his own culinary career.

Graduating & becoming a Professional Chef which took him all around Italy & UK, he partnered up with Celeb Chef Aldo Zilli to co-host Masterclasses, Food Demos, Supper Clubs & even a Television Series in Sicily, Before starring in his very own series with his Wife Valeria “The Riverside Chefs”

FAST FORWARD...

In 2020 Ciao Pizza was born!

Our VERY OWN Family run Neighbourhood Pizzeria with Italian dishes inspired by the one & only Nonna Tina!

Serving Up Slow-Proved Neapolitan Pizzas, Blasted by Fire at over 450C in our state of the art Neapolitan Pizza Oven, cooking a pizza in less than 90 seconds!

Our dough is fermented for 48 hours with high hydration, only ever using Italian flour. This makes our pizza light & fluffy and very easy to digest.

Our ingredients are 100% Italian and are all DOP (Denomination Protected Origin). The Tomatoes we use are San Marzano which grow only in the Volcanic area of Campania, producing a sweet delicious taste.
